UI & UX Design
User interfaces and user experiences that people understand at first sight: clear flows, consistent screens and design systems that hold up as products grow.

UX (user experience) decides whether people reach their goal; UI (user interface) decides how that feels on the way. Both belong together: a beautiful screen in a confusing flow fails, and so does a logical flow nobody enjoys using. I design both, in Figma, from the first flow to the finished design system.
UX: the path to the goal
- Understanding users: goals, tasks and the questions they arrive with, from interviews, analytics and support requests.
- Flows: the steps from entry to goal, with as few decisions as possible at each one.
- Information architecture: navigation, labels and structure that match how users think, not how the company is organised.
- Testing: clickable prototypes tested with real users before development starts.
UI: what users see
- Visual hierarchy: the most important thing on each screen stands out; everything else supports it.
- Consistency: the same patterns for the same actions, everywhere.
- States: empty, loading, error and success states, designed instead of left to chance.
- Accessibility: contrast, focus and sizes that work for everyone, built in from the start.
Design systems: scaling the design
A design system collects colours, typography, spacing and components in one place, with rules for how they are used. Designers and developers work from the same source, new screens are built from existing parts, and the product stays consistent as the team grows.
Result: what you get
Flows that are tested, screens that are ready to build, and a design system your team can grow with.
