QA Testing

Quality assurance for websites, shops and apps: structured testing across browsers and devices, so bugs are found before your customers find them.

Based in Hamburg, Germany, working remotely with clients across Germany and abroad, in German or English.

Every website and app has bugs; the question is who finds them first. Quality assurance (QA) makes sure it’s the team, not the customer. I test websites, shops and web apps systematically, before launch and after every major change.

Scope: what gets tested

  • Functions: forms, search, sign-in, checkout, payments, emails and every integration.
  • Browsers and devices: current browsers on desktop, phones and tablets, including iOS Safari.
  • Content: broken links, missing images, typos, wrong prices.
  • Accessibility: keyboard use, screen reader output, contrast and zoom.
  • Performance and SEO basics: loading times, titles, descriptions and indexing settings.
  • Edge cases: empty fields, very long names, special characters, slow connections.

Method: structured, not random

Testing follows test plans based on the most important user flows, so nothing essential is skipped and tests can be repeated after every change. Bugs are documented with steps to reproduce, screenshots or recordings, device and browser, and a priority, so developers can fix them without follow-up questions.

Ongoing: tests that run on every change

For projects that change often, automated tests and checks can run before each release: for key pages, forms and the checkout. That catches regressions early, and manual testing can focus on new features.

Result: what you get

A tested product, a clear list of what was found and fixed, and confidence going into launch.
